摘要:
The article examines the settlement option for the Rezaigat camel nomads of the Darfur region of western Sudan. The nomads are occupying distinct strips of land in the extreme north and extreme south of the country. The people moved south and started their journey following ancient pasture routes. They were involved in violent armed conflicts with several identity groups like the Beni Halba and the Dajo. Their strategy of obtaining access to water and pasture has led to conflicts with other nomads.
